The Cottonwood Band
This unique three-piece band is an institution in the north state. There probably isn't any major event in which these guys haven't performed.
Stamping their own brand on country as well as R'R, their music has been enjoyed for a long time from the Disneyland Hotel to the Yreka Friday Night Concerts. Voted "Best of" several times in Chico; the group maintains a full play schedule that is always as varied as their wide music capabilities.
When you go to a Cottonwood Concert you can expect to hear anything: Sons of the Pioneers, Elvis, Credance Clearwater, Steve Miller, TLC and Fastball as well as some great original stuff.

Steve Harter like many musicians has been playing music since childhood. Terrific rhythmic grooves as well as a great voice have made Steve a welcome addition to the group.
Craig Strode is the original member of the Cottonwood Band. Playing guitar and piano he also is the author of several originals performed regularly by the band.
Randy Reaves has been playing music since his teens. Growing up in Chico, CA he has always been a valued musician in constant demand. Randy has also enjoyed some financial success with his original pieces. Very strong vocally, Randy joined the Cottonwood Band in 1997.
